The Xun (also spelled hsuan) is a clay globular flute (ocarina) from China, with a history of over 7,000 years. It is blown across the opening, as if you were blowing into a bottle, and it has a similar husky, haunting quality. It comes in its own padded presentation box.

Hand-crafted terracotta Nazca Design Ocarina from Chile on a leather cord. Measuring 3 1/4″ x 3 1/2″, it has eight fingerholes and plays a full scale. $45.
